Our History

M.R.E. Cleaning Services, Inc. had its humble beginnings in Winter Park, Florida in 1993. Though the name was originally M & R Cleaning Services, it was changed in 2007, and has been M.R.E. Cleaning Services, Inc. ever since. For over two decades and counting, we have grown to be a strong leader in the industry throughout Central Florida.

How have we grown? Primarily through word of mouth. We find (and keep!) new clients because our clients believe in us and keep recommending us to others.

We have an impressive client base ranging from college students to doctors, lawyers, mortgage companies, churches, machinery companies, telecommunications businesses, corporate offices, hospitals, rest homes, and more. We even had the privilege of cleaning for the historical landmark home that once belonged to Al Capone– a retreat center complete with clandestine entryways, exits and hidden tunnels!

A Great Beginning Assures a Successful Journey

Marisol Ruiz

Founder and C.E.O.

Marisol Ruiz wisely spent three of her four college years employed by other cleaning services, being promoted and given responsibilities in managing employees and customer relations. While learning skills from those already in the industry, she earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies at Valencia Community College, then transferred to the University of Central Florida, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Marisol then put her training, talent, and education to work to begin what is now M.R.E. Cleaning Services. With twenty-plus years as President and C.E.O., she has taken the business from a small crew to a next-level industry leader. She continues to use her leadership and organizational skills to grow the business with excellence and integrity. She also passes along her knowledge and wisdom to those whom she employs, creating a system by which all employees are thoroughly trained for the specific tasks they are hired. For example, she leads crews in de-cluttering and organizing as well as in customer relations.

In her “spare” time, you can find Marisol spending time with her children, grandson, family and friends. She also loves cooking and hosting dinners. In addition, she enjoys attending charity galas and gardening.

Robert Ruiz Jr.

Chief Operations Officer

Robert Jr., growing up as the son of successful business owners, learned and embraced a strong family work ethic and decided to study to learn how to operate a business as well. While studying to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, he concurrently worked for two years as a Crew Manager for M.R.E. Cleaning Services. He completed his degree and gained valuable experience while working in the insurance and mortgage industries. In 2009, Robert Jr. joined M.R.E. Cleaning Services, where he was named by his parents as C.O.O.

Robert Jr. has put into practice innovative strategies, policies, and regulations. With Robert Jr. at the helm as C.O.O., M.R.E. Cleaning Services, Inc. has secured continued growth while creating improved operational procedures. He continues to direct the growth of the company throughout Orlando as well as the state.

He currently resides in Orlando and his hobbies include playing golf, participating in community functions, working out and spending quality time with family, friends and church members. He also participates in the local Chamber of Commerce.

Eichelmarie Ruiz-Martinez

Director of Human Resources and Office Administrator

Eichelmarie has been a part of M.R.E. Cleaning Services since the very beginning. The only daughter of Marisol, Eichelmarie has continued the family tradition of gaining valuable experience while attending college. Eichelmarie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, where she then took a job prior to graduating as an intern at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Once she graduated, Eichelmarie obtained a position in the criminal investigation division as a Crime Analyst. She then transitioned to M.R.E. Cleaning Services, where she puts her skills to work both as the Director of Human Resources and Office Administrator.

When she is not working in the office, she dedicates her time to being a stay at home mom, attending to her family and home. She and her husband are also owners of a security consulting firm, where she spends some of her workdays running operations.

Eichelmarie currently resides in Orlando, where she loves being a dedicated mother to Marisol’s first and only grandchild! She also enjoys working out and spending quality time with family and friends.

Franklin A. Bonilla

Director of Technology and Crew Liaison

After graduating from Winter Park High School in 2009, Franklin came aboard as a crew member at M.R.E. Cleaning Services. He was later promoted to crew liaison, and oversees various commercial locations throughout Central Florida.

Several of Franklin’s hobbies include fishing, gaming, cycling and working out.

Alejandro Joel Ruiz

Director of Corporate Affairs

Alejandro, the youngest son of Marisol, also graduated from Winter Park High School. Upon graduation, he began working as a crew member at M.R.E. Cleaning Services in order to familiarize himself with the family business. After becoming well established within the family business, he and his eldest brother Robert Jr. founded a secondary business called AJR Solutions, which focuses on floor care (carpet, tile and grout) as well as window cleaning and pressure washing. AJR Solutions, a subsidiary of M.R.E., is now itself a thriving business.

Alejandro is a car enthusiast who also enjoys four-wheeling, boating and playing golf with Robert Jr.
